My wife Delilah and I.

My wife Delilah and I.

Aloha from Honolulu!!  We all know bodybuilding isn't a team sport. I get even more nervous when my wife Delilah competes than I am for myself!  We flew out here to meet up with our close friends AJ and Erica, a couple that I prepped for their first shows last year.  At today's show, I was so excited to hear Erica did well and was so bummed when I didn't see AJ in the first callout.  I was honored to have the chance to compete in the same class as my client, close friend and new co worker, Jairo! Funny thing was, even before I could be excited about myself getting called into the first call group, I was anxious to hear if he would be there with me.

Sure, bodybuilding is an individual sport, but it creates a unique brotherhood and sense of family. Whether we leave this island with swords, trophies, or with nothing but stomach aches from all the poke, I can say I am truly blessed to have gotten the chance not only to compete along side some of my best friends  but to also get to relax and enjoy each other's company here in paradise!!!
